Virtual Assistant Cost Calculator

Compare what a local hire costs you with a flat monthly virtual assistant plan. Enter your own figures, as we don't assume a wage for your market. Nothing you type leaves your browser.

How the calculation works

Local monthly cost is hourly pay, plus your extra employer costs, multiplied by weekly hours and 52 weeks, then divided by 12. Plan prices are the published flat monthly fees for one dedicated VA. Recruitment, training, equipment and office costs aren't included, so add them if you want a fuller picture.

What to put in the extra costs box

Ask your accountant or payroll provider. The figure depends on where you are: employer payroll taxes in the US, CPP and EI in Canada, superannuation in Australia, KiwiSaver in New Zealand, employer National Insurance and pension in the UK, and social contributions across Europe. Leave it at 0 for a cautious comparison.

What the calculator can't tell you

Cost is one part of the decision. A remote VA can't do in-person work, and a low price means nothing if the work isn't done well. See how much a virtual assistant costs, hourly rates by country and our time zone calculator.
